The Area Agency on Aging invites local seniors to attend its annual picnic held in mid-July. This is a long-standing event honoring and celebrating the contributions older adults have made to the local community. Each year the event has a fun theme and includes lunch, souvenir photos and entertainment throughout the day.
This is a FREE annual public event providing speakers and workshops that provide information on abuse, neglect, fraud, and exploitation (stealing of money/properties) that affect our Older Adults. It educates and answers questions regarding important safety topics.
