Ms. Edythe Zschoche, Aging Care Manager and Protective Services Worker for the Area Agency on Aging of Somerset County, was honored by the State Department of Aging at the Joint Ombudsman and Protective Services Conference in Hershey in April. Edythe received an award for work she has done in assisting and advocating for older Pennsylvanians. She was recognized as an outstanding advocate for her contributions in assisting an individual residing in unacceptable living conditions by finding resources in the community to clean and create a safe living environment in the person’s home.
