STATE FAMILY CAREGIVER

SUPPORT PROGRAM

Similar to the Federal program, the State Family Caregiver Support Program provides services intended to reduce caregiver burden and stress. Flexibility in the delivery of services can allow the caregiver to purchase approved care receiver supplies or pay for the cost of in-home services. Reimbursement for these types of expenses can total a maximum of $200.00 each month, depending on a consumer’s own situation. This program also includes payment for the purchase of necessary equipment and minor renovations to the home up to $2,000.00.
