COST SHARING (FEE FOR SERVICES)

In an effort to increase the impact of the Pennsylvania State funding for Aging services, the Pennsylvania Department of Aging requires that individuals contribute an amount toward the cost of some services. This amount is based on a percentage of the consumer’s income and their co-habitating spouse. Services such as PDA Waiver, Home Delivered Meals, Assessment, Care Management, and Protective Services are not included in the cost sharing system, because they are financed in whole or in part, by the Federal government.
