WAIVER PROGRAM (PDA Waiver)

The PDA Waiver Program is designed for people aged 60 and older who choose to receive service in their own home rather than in a nursing home setting. It is commonly called the “Waiver program” because the in-home services are funded through a special waiver of certain Medicaid nursing home regulations for payments of nursing home.

The conditions for participating in the service include:

*Be age 60 or older

*Require the level of care of a nursing home

*Choose community based services rather than a Nursing Home.

*Meet Medicaid financial requirements or have income of no more than $1,809.00 per month and no more than $8,000.00 in assets.
