SUPPORT PROGRAM

The Federal Family Caregiver Support Program provides services to help reduce the stress and burden for consumers and caregivers. Flexibility in the delivery of services allows the caregiver or the consumer to purchase allowable supplies or pay for the cost for in-home care. Reimbursement for expenses can reach a maximum of $300.00 each month, depending on a consumer’s own situation. This program can also include payment for the purchase of needed equipment and minor renovations to the home, up to a maximum of $2,000. This services can also be used to support State Family Caregiver Support, which is explained on the next page.
