SENIOR COMMUNITY SERVICE

EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM

The Senior Community Service Employment Program is offered by the Area Agency on Aging in order to train and place older workers in the workforce.

This service is designed to provide and promote part-time activities for persons, aged 55 and older and who meet certain income guidelines. Service enrollees are placed within Agency programs, such as Nutrition and Meal Delivery, or with temporary enrollment positions used at non-profit sites (such as schools, libraries, ambulance associations, etc.).
