Nutritious meals are served daily, Monday through Friday at noon at each center, except the Boswell Senior Center,
which meets every Monday only. Reservations a day in advance are necessary for preparation of meals.
Participants for lunch who are 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age, are eligible and are provided the
opportunity to make a suggested donation of $2.00 toward the cost of providing this service. Guests who are not 60
or over are required to pay $4.00 if they receive a meal.
In addition to the nutrition program, center participants
are offered socialization, recreation, and educational opportunities. Special activities include guest speakers,
demonstrations, films, picnics, trips, volunteer dinners, holiday parties, and arts and crafts projects.
Presentations on health, fire safety, legal matters, and crime prevention are offered, accessing Somerset County
resources whenever possible.
Health screenings are offered each month, with some being offered for a minimal
fee and others being free of charge.
